It seems lately I have had the pleasure of photographing people I knew when they were kids. I grew up with Allison’s brother here wreaking havoc ourselves in the streets of Beaumont. She was such a young girl then but has blossomed quite well. Allison and her brothers had a scare a while back when their mom went head strong into a fight with cancer. So when her mom called me up and asked to set up a session I could not resist!

Sandra has put in work for over 4 years at LU (Lamar University). She worked full time and went to school full time, she put in the hours and sacrificed any free time to get things done. World watch out there is a woman on the loose and she is coming to get what ever her heart desires! Congratulations Sandra, the world is yours for the taking!

Xiomara (or z-mo as I like to call her) was probably one of the most up-beat sessions we have had. She has this look of innocence but the personality that could keep the party going. This session was a blast and we can’t wait for round two!

.
Z-mo’s sister even joined us for some great family shots! (Sandra, who we will see in a future post.)

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Cassie. I have actually known her groom-to-be (Dillon Rankin) since he was a little tike wreaking havoc on others lol. His family attended church where my family did and we crossed paths several times. Dillon grew up to be such a strong and spirited young man and unfortunately he was over seas serving our country at the time of this bridal session. Thankfully we still managed to capture the smile he left on Cassie.

This backyard venue is actually where the wedding will take place…breathe taking!

I would like to welcome every one to the new and improved LNJ Photography’s blog. We will be updating often and are eager to share everything we capture. It brings me honor to make our first post Alex (also known as A.J.). A.J. is one of my many cousins and is graduating this year from Bridge City High school. He was very excited to take these pictures, but even more excited when L.I.T called him and accepted him into the fire fighters program.

Such a handsome boy…His mamma sho is proud too!
